David Martini

I teach US and international law to students in France.

Associate professor (maître de conférences associé) at the Université Clermont Auvergne since 2012, and adjunct professor at ESC Clermont Business School. I have also worked on international criminal cases in The Hague and on human rights projects with academics, states, and business associations. Before law school, I taught mathematics and coached wrestling.

How I teach

My approach comes from many years in the classroom, first as a student and then as a teacher. Most students want to learn, and some even learn how to learn.

I always start from why we are there: why these students, in this room, are learning this subject.
